The aim of this project is to conduct tests on different types of commercially available fan regulators, observe their practical limits of power quality(mainly harmonics) and compare them with internationally accepted IEEE standards. Also, to implement a fan regulator circuit using a combination of TRIAC and DIAC and compare its harmonic content with commercially available regulators.
